When you arrive in the northern area of Colorado, you will begin to see the signs. That’s right, the beaver signs. The actual store is located in Johnstown, Colorado.

We stopped, of course, and got some dinner and cheese snacks for our dogs. This was the only photo I took. But here’s a stock photo of the Bronze beav:

If you haven’t been to one and there is one in your area, visit and try those brisket sandwiches. They really are over-the-top delicious! Try my personal favorite, the chips (as in potato chips). Not too salty and fried to perfection. And simply pop in to look around and have a little fun. Cleanest bathrooms you will ever find on your travels, too. Private and really nice. It’s no wonder they do great business.
Oh, and if you live in Colorado, they have approval to build a Buc-ees around Monument Hill in Palmer Park. The best thing I can think of with such a location is that it will give you access to a place to stop when the snow hits hard and turns Monument Hill into the nightmare it’s known to be.
