Oh My! I Abandoned You All…

Dear Readers, I am so sorry! I have kept myself busy with many things and in doing so, I totally forgot about my blog. Crazy, I know. It’s because we are sitting in Utah and not traveling at all, especially with the horrible fuel prices right now. But I am keeping busy!

I’ve done some additional crafting, like this glue gun holder for my child:

And the side view:

The boxes in the back accommodate both large glue sticks and smaller ones in separate compartments. The glue gun sits on the end with the tip on the coaster. If it leaks, the glue peels off easily.

We babysat a precious Corgi named Millie while her dad worked on our RV. I, of course, fell in love:

She was so sweet and enjoyed eating Tristan’s leftover dry food. Then she lay down between Jay’s and my chair while we waited for the work to be finished. Spending time with her only made me want a Corgi more! But no other dogs with our sweet Tristan. He needs to be the one and only in his old age.

Honestly, I should have adjusted these photos because they show the mess in our RV. I am dying in this heat. And our A/Cs were clogged from the cottonwood trees on this property, so we had to hire someone to clean them out. During that time, it was constantly about 80 degrees in here! I posted this on my Facebook page:

It has been in the 100s Fahrenheit for several weeks and finally dropped into the 90s. That’s still way too hot for me. I need the 70s, at least.

We did go to the drive-in to see the new Spider-Man movie. We took Tristan. He was so well-behaved! But of course he was. He’s such a sweet, good boy:

We took his Coolaroo, but it took a minute for him to realize he should lie on it instead of the uncomfortable gravel and dirt. That’s his no-spill water dish, too. And we had some treats for him. We take our camp chairs (rockers) with us to the drive-in.

And he slept during most of the movie, but watched it when it first started. This is the view at the drive-in:

There are few lights behind the screen, so the view is really good. We were closer than this looks, as I wanted to get the mountains in the background. Not gorgeous Colorado mountains, but Utah tries in its desert climate. LOL.

We do have beautiful sunsets. I caught this one day on our way home from the dog park:

Same one with a little distance:

I have more going on – some writing that I’m super excited about – but I’ll talk about that in my next post! Until then, Dear Readers, I bid you peace and happiness.
