Hello, Dear Readers! I mentioned I’ve not been writing much, so I’ve been crafting both for fun and to organize things I needed. And I’ve been getting things in the RV set up that we put off while traveling. For one, some curtains for the window. The bracket on the blind broke off. It’s a difficult item to locate, so while Jay hunts for it, we had a throw clipped up there. It was awful looking. I ordered some curtains and got them hung up today:
I love the scalloped edges. Pink and lacy. Right up my alley. 😉
I used an old basket I picked up somewhere several years ago. A block of styrofoam and lavender picks from Walmart later and I got this:
I painted this little bird that came off a glass bottle and was clear, but I haven’t attached it yet:
I painted this little guy that faded into my tiered tray when he was all dark brown:
Admittedly, I’m not a great artist when it comes to painting, but I get by, I guess. LOL. I’ve got several other projects I’m working on, and I finally got things cleaned up with craft items as I continue wrapping them up.
So that’s it for now. I really want to write some drabbles (100 word stories) for a new submission call about Time Travel. I’ll have to make myself sit down and focus on it. Love writing drabbles! It’s a challenge and fun.
