Photography Series: Between My Feet

What could this possibly mean, Dear Readers? Well, I’m stuck elevating my feet. I’ve had surgery on both, this time preventative. And I’m not able to get out and about. We are parked for a while, likely until summer begins, perhaps May, if we’re lucky. More likely June. Here is what my feet look like right now:

During my Tuesday follow-up with the podiatrist, I was told I had another week in these beauties. Yay…NOT. Yes, this does suck. I’m sitting way too much, and I hate it!

Another day, I took this photo:

Our child is currently living with us, and this is her cat, Cinnamon. Cinnamon loves her Nana, and Nana (me) loves Cinny. She’s on my lap a lot. In that background is Tristan on his dog bed, one of his favorite places to sleep. Off to the left of me is our child on the sofa, when Cinnamon moved later in the day, with Sophie on the other side of them:

Tristan with his nose tucked and his rawhide bone, what’s left of it, on his bed:

We always joke that he’s the saddest dog in the world. He naturally looks that way, but he’s a happy boy. He’s twelve years old, too.

Yep, she’s still there (on another day) – LOL:

And our little Sophie has stolen her brother’s bed. She loves to lay on the sofa, but right now, Shiloh is taking up that space:

Here is our child on the sofa:

And this is always a favorite photo for me, Shiloh with Tristan. They have been buddies for twelve years:

Our TV with our Hummingbird lights on:

Tristan slings his paws over me at night when we crawl into bed, too. Sophie sleeps between Jay’s and my pillows, and I occasionally have her tiny paw or two on my arm. That’s too hard to take a photo of. So only this of Shiloh and Tristan:

Another shot of Cinnamon on my lap with her nose tucked in like Tristan enjoys sleeping:

Life is quite crowded, but this is how it is for now. We are enjoying – for the most part – being together as a family.

I have no idea what I will be posting next, but I promise this is the end of my Photography Series: Between My Feet. LOL. Surely there is something better I can post about 😉

Until next time, Dear Readers, keep your heads up. In my humble opinion, the world has gone crazy; we are in the end times. It will become more difficult. Hug your family. Stay close to those you love. Don’t let politics or religion interfere with your relationships. We need each other every day and will need each other more as time progresses.

I appreciate you being here. Blessings to you.

  1. Kerri,

    Amen sister…crazy times!

Answer: Read God’s Word and do the best we can to be the people he wants us to be. Because he is the only one that can get us out of this mess. If we don’t repent and do what he says we have no hope…in this life or the next.
