Yes, Dear Readers, you read that correctly. It has come to an end as Our Hero has reached the Florida Keys, thus, his goal of riding across this great country. I am grateful to him for sharing the photos and his progress as he pushed and pedaled his way from Washington State to Florida. What an amazing accomplishment! I’m so proud of him! On this final day, Our Hero rode sixty-six miles.
In total, Art rode for sixty actual days, averaging 64.4 miles per day and 9.54 miles in elevation gain. The Grand Total in miles: 3,863.
On this day, he started out following the Krome Path along Highway 997. Check out all the palm trees:
