Day 61 – Wet and Rough

Our Hero had a rough day, so there are few photos. It was raining all day, and even when it wasn’t, the ride was still wet. Despite the crummy weather, he managed seventy-eight miles! And he crossed into Kentucky!

Heading out, Cindy snapped this photo:

I suspect she had no plans on getting out in that wet weather! Riding the roadway below, Art was surrounded by rocky hills that reached ten to twelve feet high:

And then, he crossed the Ohio River:

Here’s the bridge he had to ride across. Thank goodness, rush hour was over. There is little to no shoulder there. He certainly had to ride with care to stay safe:

Those are all the photos for this wet, rainy day. And no wonder. I’m sure Art wanted to get home, be dry, and eat something warm!
