Looks like we are stuck here in Tooele until summer. Medical bills and all the RV repairs have put us in a position where we need to pick up some work. Jay is applying for jobs around town and will hopefully find something soon. I’m the cause of the medical bills, as you know if you follow this blog. I’m on disability, so at best, I might be able to do a little dog walking to help when I heal. But my doctor prefers I don’t. He’s worried about my feet developing additional issues. We’ll have to see how it goes when I’m healed and how I’m doing. We will likely have to rely on Jay picking something up. As I often say, it is what it is.
While I won’t have travel content to share, I’ll share what I can to hopefully keep you entertained. So, going back to our trip coming back to Utah, we had to pass through Wyoming. I am not a fan. It is always so windy! And at a rest stop, we found a sign that explained why. Apparently, it’s all about location. Welcome to the wind-causing Snowy Range Mountains:

Driving through Wyoming is always a bit boring, but all of a sudden, you hit some rocks and cliffs in the middle of the flat lands:

In the middle of nowhere, you approach this hotel. I can’t recall if it’s a Hilton or a Holiday Inn, but it almost blends in with the scenery and is a good ten miles outside of Green River, Wyoming. It’s location seems odd to me:

We saw these red rocks on our way home, too:
