We boondocked all the way to Florida rather than pay for and hook up to services. One great benefit of that is that some places, for a donation, offer electric hookups anyway. And our first stop, Hidden Crick Farms, did exactly that. Not only that, but as an actual working farm, they offered fresh eggs and their own honey. We grabbed both! Another benefit is that you don’t unhook your truck from the 5th wheel, so taking off the next morning is a lot easier and quicker.
Hidden Crick Farms is in North Carolina, and it was in this state that I saw my first cotton field. They’re pretty, I think:

We enjoyed our stay. Next, we stayed in Savannah, Georgia, at a bar and grill called Coach’s Corner. They have limited spaces that offer electricity. Unfortunately, we didn’t arrive early enough to get one. We used our Jackery to power our CPAPs. That night they had a live band, so it was a bit loud, but the music was pretty good. And we had dinner that night that Kerri didn’t have to cook! Yay, me!
This was a stock photo of the outdoor area with the stage in the background:

The next night, we landed at our site in Orlando, Florida. We’re staying at Encore Lake Magic. We’re conveniently located near Universal and Disney World. Though we won’t be visiting the latter. I’m excited to see Universal. I will say the traffic here is a living nightmare! LOL.
This is how Sophie and Tristan traveled over the three days. First, part of Tristan is on my lap. The rest of his body is in his car seat:

Sophie likes to ride with her paws on Daddy (Jay) and her head lying against his back while she sleeps. When she’s not in her car seat, she’s in my arms. She likes to cuddle in the car, but I think she’s happiest in her little car seat:

Next Up: We’re going to Universal, and it’s all about Harry Potter!
