Wednesday, Jay and I saw one of my brothers again here in Pennsylvania! It was a great visit, especially because this time, I got to see my two nieces and their children. I’d never met their kids before. It was so good to see my nieces, my first two babies! They were the first ones to make me an aunt, and I adore them both. There was a lot of laughter, and I immediately fell in love with my grandniece and nephews. My brother is blessed to have these grandchildren.
This first photo is of Chad, my niece, Casey’s husband, her daughter, Ava, Casey, my niece Heather’s son Tripp, me, Heather, and Jay. Chad is an anchor on a local news station. Ava is a college student, Casey and Chad are home builders, Casey is a designer, Tripp is in high school and an incredible hockey player, and Heather works for a private school. I’m so proud of every one of them. Missing is Anthony, Casey’s son, but he’s in the next photo. He works in the building company. Of course, our two babies made the photo. The big one is Tristan, and the little one is Sophie, almost out of the shot.

I’m super close to both my brothers. Seeing Kim was wonderful, and I missed my sister-in-law so much. We used to hang out a lot. Here is a photo of all of us – Dianne, Kim, me, and Jay:
We had such a great time. I got to see photos of the grands when they were younger and some videos, too. Tripp is a comedian! He is so funny – both when young and now. We’ll be visiting several more times. Ava will be back at college, and the rest are all busy with their work lives and school, so I think it will just be Kim, Dianne, and us. I feel blessed to have met the kids and spent some time with my nieces. My heart is so full! Family is Forever and is such a great blessing!
