It’s Monday, and Our Hero is riding his way through Florida. The end goal? The Atlantic Ocean! And our meetup in Orlando, Florida! He rode sixty-four miles today and gained 781 feet in elevation on hills.
Today’s ride was rainy and misty. Art’s comment? “Rainy Mondays always get me down.” Can you hear the song in your head now? The Carpenters – Rainy Days and Mondays. It will probably be stuck in my head all day. Here is the misty photo he took:

He saw lots of palm trees as he continued on:

The further he goes, the more palm trees he sees. And it rained All Day Long! Then, around 2 p.m., the wind kicked up. That meant he was riding into a headwind of eight to fifteen mph for about an hour. He finally called it.
He saw many unnamed ponds, but no alligators so far. Jay told him to try dangling his arm over the water. LOL.
I got to meet one of my long-time writer friends, who is also a publisher, Ann Stolinsky. She owns Gemini Wordsmiths/Celestial Echo Press, along with another woman, Ruth Littner. We had lunch and visited for over an hour. Yes, we took a photo to share, too:

I’m tall, coming in at around five feet nine inches. Ann is maybe five feet at best. So I felt like a giant, and my posture in the photo was awful! LOL. Ann is a sweet, lovely person, and we had a wonderful time meeting face to face after so many years of knowing each other online. Thank you, Ann, for making me feel so welcome in this gorgeous state of Pennsylvania.
If you’re interested in any of the books published by her company, you can search Celestial Echo Press on Amazon, and they will come up. Just make sure the publisher shows as Celestial Echo Press or has Ann or Ruth’s names on them as editors.
That’s all we’ve got for this post. I hope you are enjoying the changing weather, Dear Readers. I love this time of year!
