Today, Our Hero reached seventy-seven miles total. It was flat the entire way, but the wind was definitely a factor in his ride. That makes three days of strong headwinds for him on Friday, Saturday, and today. When he started out, it was a cool sixty-eight degrees, but quickly warmed to a balmy eighty-four.
He was directed to a great trail by a nice young man that went all the way to Norfolk, Nebraska.

This Historical Marker for the Savidge Brothers, who were Aviation Pioneers with a tragic end:

Our Hero crossed the Elkhorn River on three occasions. Here are two photos:

And from the bridge:

He also passed this cute house with a Railroad Crossing sign and an old, rusted train out front:

A challenging ride, but he still hit that seventy-seven miles, Dear Readers. I’m impressed!
