Traveling With Pets

Not every pet can travel well or happily. You need to consider this if you are thinking about adopting this kind of lifestyle. Our two dogs are older. Sophie is sixteen and a tiny Bichon Frisé:

We adopted her after her first mama passed away, and none of her grown kids wanted Sophie or her brother, Mr. Tibbs. Tibbsy was on hospice care when we got him, so he was only with us for around seven months. He was deaf, mostly blind, didn’t have bladder control (that’s a diaper on him in the photo below), and had doggie dementia. But he was our baby, and we loved him. He was precious!

Tristan, we have had for eleven years. He’s twelve now, a German Shepard mix. He’s my boy and my cuddle buddy, sleeps up against me all night. And he knows when his mama needs him. This was after surgery on my toe:

Our pets are family to us. We love them, and once an animal comes into our home, they stay with us their entire lifetime. We ALWAYS adopt rescues. There are too many animals in need to ever purchase a pet from a pet shop. Always adopt!

I just thought I’d share this little bit about my babies. Have a great day, Readers!
