This day was an amazing sixty-four-mile ride for Art. At the end of the ride, he landed in Plevna, Montana, and he’s headed to Bowman, North Dakota next.
But before the big move to a new state, Art took some great photos to share with you, Dear Readers. Here, he heads back into forested-looking land. What does that tell us, though? More hills coming to ride up? Read on to find out:

In this next photo, we see the changing landscape and interesting changes in the rocks and hill formations:

At least the roads he’s riding on are good again:

A nice shoulder to cry ride on, and a beautiful sky above, sun shining. This photo shows more of this beautiful state:

That Montana Big Sky is what this state is so well known for:

He made it over that first hill challenge! Now he had time to enjoy the scenery and take photos to share with all of us:

I would refer to these as rolling hills. Not bad after a long, hot summer. There have been some fires in Montana throughout our stay here, too, so sometimes the sky is a reflection of that.

Look at this tree-covered ridge and another change in the rocks’ colors:

From tree-covered hills to sort of plateaus:

And back again. This time, we get the blue sky:

There is a rich history in this state, particularly in the Old West era. Our Hero finds himself entering such landscapes once again:

Clearly a ranching area, the past was filled with Native Americans. Respectfully, we keep the names for the rivers and land as they did:

Following this sign, it’s only fitting that I add in the photo Art took of the steel bridge:

And in among the empty places, a large farm/ranch:

This is a land of cattle raising and roundups:

The poem was turned into a song. You can listen to it here:
These are some of the lands where the roundups took place, coming up from Texas:

Note the roadway. It is going downhill! Next, it seems to be another uphill run:

Look at the color of the rocks here:

Art had a great day of some beautiful scenery and easy roads. The best part is that he shares it all with us!
