Day 30 – Miles and Miles to Go

I neglected to mention that Our Hero rode seventy-nine miles yesterday, Readers! Wow!

And today was a new day. Today he rode ninety-two miles! Ninety-two! We’re not talking about some thirty-year-old guy here. Art is sixty-five, and he hit that. Incredible. Yes, it was mostly flat land and a paved surface, but he still had some hills to overcome. He landed in Forsythe, Montana. I think I’ll be shocked as this journey continues at the miles he can build up. He just might finish this trip within the three months planned. We’ll see!

He had to ride hard to stay ahead of a big storm on the way:

He got hit with some minor drizzles, but he beat it! Yay for paved roads to ride on!

I just posted two days ago with some “missed” photos. As it turns out, exhausted but excited Art listed them with the wrong date, and I didn’t think to ask how he took so many photos for Day 29! Between the two of us, we’re sometimes on the struggle bus! LOL. So, here for you to see AGAIN, the photos he took for this day that I thought were for the 29th:

A desolate area on this day. But more interesting rock formations:

And another, as seen yesterday:

Plus, the two historic signs:

And:

I did consider simply typing, “Refer to previous post,” and going from there. While I thought it was hilarious, Dear Reader, you might not. So after a chuckle, I posted them again. We will endeavor to do better in the future. And as always, Thank You for reading and sticking with us!

Next Up: Day 31 – Sunday, which is already written and will pop in your email momentarily!
