I’m going to start this post with a shocker. Our Hero rode sixty-eight miles today! That’s incredible! Readers, Art is impressive. That is an incredible amount of mileage for a sixty-five-year-old guy!
Of course, I checked on them this morning. Cindy said she was scared for Art due to the lack of a shoulder when he started out. She followed him until he reached an area with a shoulder to ensure he was safe. Thankfully, so far, the drivers in Washington, Idaho, and Montana have been great.
Cindy was sure to take some photos when Art was preparing to ride and when he was on his way. Look at that smile! He is so ready:

Here he is preparing his shoes and checking his bike:

You can see quite a bit of their new camper in this photo:

And off he goes:

Heading down this nice road, paved and easy to ride on:

When he had a shoulder, he was able to take some cool photos:

Montana has mountains or hills almost everywhere! Gorgeous:

Another photo of the area he was riding through:

Because Art was in catch-up mode, he didn’t take as many photos as usual. He is also in an area that looks very similar as you go along. Tomorrow’s post will have some fascinating photos!
And a note about Cindy. She fell yesterday when her dog’s leashes wrapped around her and caused her to trip. Been there, done that. She was in a lot of pain when they left. I gave her a sling I had left over from my shoulder surgery because she was in so much pain. She can’t lift her arm to her face or look at her watch. Keep her in your prayers for a quick and full recovery!
And Remember:
