Do you know it? Have you been? Do you want to go?
When we started watching full-time RVers, before we decided to join them, we kept seeing videos about it. All. The. Time.

Buc-ee’s is a huge gas station, convenience, clothing, home goods, etc, store. It’s crazy busy every time we’ve stopped there. And there is usually parking for RVs – But no Trucks (semis) allowed!

Buc-ee is the mascot and you can own the blowup version above. I mean, if you want. Most of the stores have a cute bronze Buc-ee outside to invite you in the main entrance. But you can enter at any number of doors, depending on where you are parked. Because they are very large. When I took this picture, we were in, yep, Baytown, Texas (notice sign on the bottom of the statue). It’s a southern phenomenon!

These places are everywhere and you can’t miss the signs – giant billboards – informing you one is 900 miles away, 200 miles away, 100 miles away, two exits away, or the next exit.

And a new one recently opened in Colorado. That was where we were introduced. Inside is almost everything you could ever want…A stuffed Buc-ee? They got you covered!

Some Buc-ee’s pajamas? You bet! And people walk around the store in them, too. I’m talking about customers who have bought them. Whole families sometimes.

Here’s the big reason you want to stop at one. Their famous Brisket Sandwiches. Sliced or chopped, it’s yummy. So are the chicken sandwiches. And I’ve heard they have turkey ones, though I’ve not tried them. And the potato chips! Now those are cut on site, thick and delicious. Not too salty, either. Warm and filling, they are my go to. That and the very inexpensive sodas!

They also have a huge wall of World Famous Jerky. What flavor can you think of? It’s probably on this wall:

My favorites fall into several categories. I love Teriyaki, Bohemian Garlic, Steakhouse, and Korean BBQ Inspired. I want to try the Old Western Style Peppered and Cherry Maple. I’m not sure I can handled the peppered, but it sounds good.
If you get a chance, go give it a try. A lot of people rave about the Beaver Nuggets, but they’re a bit too sweet for us. They also have cheese cubes (I always pick a pack up for our dogs to share), puddings, salads, deli-type sandwiches, lots of sweets, including fudge that we also don’t eat but many people rave about, and so much more.
Nuts are a big item, too:

They have lots of clothing for men, women and kids and plenty of doggie items for your best friend. Our dogs love the doggie cookies.

Crazy, right? Well, there is also a car wash:

Let’s just say, if you have a chance, go visit a Buc-ee’s. It’s fun and delicious!
