Mardi Gras Deux!

It ain’t over til Fat Tuesday reigns!

There were two parades on Fat Tuesday. The first was a “Jeep Parade,” but included some older restored, or not, and sports cars. There were some very cool looking cars there:

And then the jeeps began:

I really liked this one:

And then, it was time for the Krewe of Krewes. This was the littlest Princess. She never looked our way:

And the oldest:

Next were all the floats throwing beads, cups (some with advertisements and some with Mardi Gras colors and emblems on them), rubber duckies, plastic robots, candy, coins and more. This one had a cute duck on the front:

And these were the Royals, referred to as the Krewe la Noblesse:

Krewe de King and Queen above and below are the Krewe de la Famille:

Krewe de Valhalla had tons of beads hanging behind them. I got some larger beads from them.

Krewe de Pirates was ready to take prisoners:

And Krewe de Mystique was dressed to impress:

Of course, there were many others. This final parade is the biggest and best of the week! We had so much fun. The people in Louisiana were kind, respectful, and polite. Lake Charles was a lovely place for Mardi Gras!
